The Marxist Philosophy subject in the medical sciences. History and present time

Abstract

The present work has as antecedents the process of universalization of the Marxism in the university careers of the country, its objective is to reveal the main moments in the history of its implementation in the medical universities, especially in Villa Clara. It was used a revision of documents in the Philosophy Department, the General Secretary files as well as a bibliographical revision. It refers the history and the theoretical, methodological and ideological presuppositions in these programs were sustained in the medical sciences and the current situation of the subject Philosophy and Health, its place inside the study plan and the changes that it specifies. It is specified the transition process of the program as part of the necessary transformations in the university teaching of the Marxism Leninism. The work expresses what it happened in Philosophy and Health and it gives elements to take out the necessary experiences in order to implement the new program.
