Abstract

It was carried out a descriptive transversal study to identify the factors which make difficult the teaching-learning process of the subjects Psychology I II for nursing students in Santa Clara university sites. Questionnaires were applied to teachers and students and a documentary analysis of the current syllabus was carried out. Different factors were identified by the students, in which the favorable factors were predominant, among them stand out motivation, Organizational teaching forms, the contents and their difficulties and timetable. On the part of the teachers the non favorable factors were predominant, among them stand out the level of specialization, difficulties to teach and asses contents and the lack of adequacy between both syllabuses according to the interest of the Nursing career.
