Learning through competence in medicine: a new view

The current reality demands from the University an urgent adaptation to the demands and challenges that it imposes the actuality, on the base of conquering the challenges, and to face the current challenges and futures creatively. Certainly what, is not to accept the novel thing, for the only made of being in consonance with the modernity, it is mainly to incorporate the new thing to stimulate the creative and innovative spirit, the reflexive thought, the necessity of the permanent study and the motivation for the scientific investigation as source of the non alone development of the society, but of the own intellect human¨. It is in short of living to the rhythm of the life, for the life and for the life in benefit of the society, based in the feasibility and economic sustainability.In this respect many academic and social institutions in general, they have expressed their concern and occupation, for the challenges and challenges that should face, and they have elaborated formless that pick up orientations and limits to keep in mind in the making of intervention-action programs that not alone they mitigate the existent difficulties, and give answer to the challenges that next express, but rather it allows the improvement and development of the medical education. On the other hand the new work forms and the necessity for many people to traffic several times inside a certain occupation and to adapt to unexpected situations, they demand capacities that surpass the competitions provided by the traditional didactic strategy of the school disciplines and/or university students.
The formation based on competition and in the cultural, much more integral historical focus, dynamics and flexible to those traditionally used in the field of the medical education, it is an option that looks for to generate formative processes of more quality, but without losing of view the necessities of the society, of the profession, of the development of the discipline and of the academic work and what it is constituted in a feasible alternative of applying to the contemporary medical formation.
