An integrated approach for the formation of values in the future health professionals

Abstract

Objetive: To explain the integrated approach of the Educative Strategy used at the University of Medical Sciences from Villa Clara for the formation of values in the future healthe professionals as well as the results obtained. Development: the formation of values is an imperative in the hard and complex national and international context that we are living at present that demands new methods and pedagogic alternatives the Educative Strategy has been used on the base of some educative quality indicators that allow a priority in its implementation on different levels, on a systematic process of orientation, planning, fulfillment, monitoring, control and evaluation of the formative process in the health services of the province and in all the scenarios where the future professionals are formed, with the concious participation of directors, students, professors, workers and specially youngsters organizations. Conclusions: In the formation of the health professionals the consolidation of values, the educative work with an integral approach of the educative quality, constitute the essence of the present Cuban society to fulfill the Mission of the Medical University.
