Abstract

In the history of mankind, information has been a resource of power. Currently the development of information and communications technologies demand information professionals to train subjects as intelligent users, which contributes to an increase in scientific quality. The authors aim to deepen the issue due to the need to manage information on the work strategies of the Ministry of Public Health of Cuba, whose programs are projected to solve the main existing health problems in the country, which require each major scientific support day; On the other hand, the evaluation of the information management constitutes a valuable instrument to demonstrate the levels of preparation of the specialists and managers that conduct this activity and of the role of the scientific information in the quality of the results achieved.
