Abstract

Professionals attending older adults need scientific preparation on the salutogenic approach in the treatment of low self-esteem to diagnose and reduce the affectation that this attitude can cause in the lives of the elderly. An analysis was carried out about the importance of the aforementioned approach, in order to socialize the need for their knowledge among those who are in the undergraduate training process, or in the period of postgraduate scientific-professional improvement in the field of health , pedagogical training and physical culture, for its application in therapeutic, rehabilitation, sports and recreational activities.
