Abstract

The health situation analysis constitutes the appropriate scientific-methodological instrument to identify, prioritize and solve the problems of a given community, with a positive impact on the modification of the health status of its inhabitants. It is the objective of this communication to offer its background, definition and other aspects that facilitate its teaching in medical education, highlighting its importance in the work of primary care, in which the assistance, teaching and research function are united, so that its Teaching must be systematic and everyday.
