Results: the training was carried out through the course designed in the face-to-face modality with a duration of one week; It consists of six themes and is designed according to specific learning needs depending on the work activity of the workers. Various didactic principles and different evaluation modalities were applied to verify the apprehension of the contents, and simulation was potentiated as a didactic strategy.
Conclusions: the designed course fulfills the didactic requirements, is pertinent, feasible and has an adequate scientific and methodological treatment in its subjects according to the criteria of the specialists consulted; Its execution made it possible to measure the level of appropriation of knowledge and skills for patient care.
