Abstract

This research work was carried out in the Medicine Faculty of the University of Medical Sciences in Villa Clara, with the objective: to elaborate a psychopedagogical strategy which makes possible the integral attention to students who are facing school problems, including those who leave school. Empirical and theorical methods where applied to find out the difficulties these students faced. The work done allowed the elaboration of a proposal with different actions to work with the great massiveness and diversity of students who are registered at present. An strategy was designed to erradicate the limitations in the work of the student counsiling department so as to elevate the quality of the formational process in the future professionals of the medical sciences.
