System of actions for the pedagogical eyegrading of professor in the university policlinic project

Abstract

A qualitative study was carried out with the teachers of the South University polyclinic in Placetas municipality from november 2006 to january 2007 in order to propose a system of actions for the pedagogical upgrading of tutors and facilitators and intentional nonprobabilistic sample was applied. The sample was composed by five facilitators and three tutors due to saturation of the information given, bisides three key informants were used. Questionaires and interviewws were applied and search in documents was carried out the work done allowed to determine the necessities of pedagogical upgrading, it was also found the necessity to learn how to develop abilities to work with the independent work, the formation of values, and the attention to the students´ individual differences. It was also verified that teachers were not included in the pedagogical strtegy of that Center and the potentialities of the metodological work are not used. It is proposed a system of pedagogical actions, it is composed by upgrading actions, scientific methodological action and assessment actions so as to transform the pedagogical practice. The specialist considered it pertinent and updated.
