Abstract

The informational literacy is the people´s capacity to have access, assess and use the information in an effective and ethical form. The objective of the current study is: To propose an strategy of Informational literacy for information workers of Villa Clara health system; in correspondence with the aptitudes of the Sconul Model, it comprises three levels of preparation: elemental, intermediate and advanced. The methodology used in this research work followed a qualitative approach, methods and techniques from the empirical and theoretical levels were applied, they made possible the compilation of data to elaborate a proper diagnose and to make decisions that conduct the upgrading process. The proposal is composed by a series of general, organizable and didactic actions and by the design of a course and a workshop, which were integrated to an institutional research project to transform the current situation of health information workers.
