Abstract

Although to publish in English helps you improve the visibility of magazines, it is not discarded the option of publishing in Spanish, because there are magazines with impact factor directed to the Hispanic scientific community and other multilingual community. In the course of the last ten years, the realization of clinical trials in Cuba has shown a great development and there is an unquestionable high investigative potential to publish in recognized magazines with an international visibility that could be exploited more than it happens at present. The valuation of publications like part of the scientific productivity of the researchers is an important indicator of the work that professionals and scientists carry out, the reason why it was carried out the analysis of publications of Villa Clara province clinical researchers in a five year period 2005-2009,it has been shown the prevalence of articles in Cuban medical magazines with an unequal distribution per years. The valuation of the state of the publications of the clinical researchers in Villa Clara province is carried out considering those elements that can influence in the bigger or smaller visibility of science in the territory.
