Abstract

The use of information and communication technologies for teaching purposes has become essential today. Learning in virtual environments has had a global boom from which Cuba has not been exempt. It is not enough to digitize teaching materials on digital platforms, you must have a technological infrastructure for a successful teaching-learning process (TLP); teachers must be prepared to do this in the didactic and methodological foundations that support the use of new technologies as teaching aids. The authors intend to communicate the results of the teaching, scientific and methodological work of the General Training Department of the Dental Faculty at the University of Medical Sciences of Villa Clara, which is aimed fundamentally at the preparation of teachers in the use of said technologies in the teaching-learning process.
