Abstract

Placing students in the corresponding levels from A1 to B1 has been among the most debated topics in English language learning in Cuban universities since the latter has been established as a mandatory requirement to graduate from higher education considering the peculiarities of the new scenario in which the current cultural, professional and revolutionary debate takes place. To achieve this purpose, one useful way is the curricular space implemented as Plan E for medical science universities in English I, II, III, IV, V and VI subjects. The objective of this article is to socialize teaching experiences with the application of learning resources designed for the development of English language skills in first-year students of the medical career in accordance with what is established to achieve level A1 in this academic year.
